Earth- The hindering of the environment known as climate change is a result of human activity. Climate change is when pollution occurs and over a substantial amount of time, the earth begins to warm causing glaciers to melt, smog to appear, and temperatures to alter drastically. The evolution of climate change begun only in the past hundreds of years, this is around the same time as when the Earth's population noticeably began to increase. This caused new innovations and more polluting technologies to be invented at an alarming rate. It is important for people to note that the severity of this matter will only increase over time making the need for aiding climate change much more vital; this is so future populations will not have to live in conditions that have been caused by past generations. One major issue is that there is not only one singular area being affected by climate change but it is the undivided world that gains the ramifications of climate change. These effects, can be reduced by persuading individuals into making changes to their lifestyles and convincing governments to create regulations that in turn will help the fight against the changing climate before it becomes an unsolvable issue.

In this situation, the general public have various options to contribute in reversing the effects of climate change. As climate change progresses new innovation are born, new innovations are being created to give the public different choices of lifestyle that may not have as harmful effects on the environment. For example by selecting eco-friendly vehicles this will will contribute to less pollution being emitted into the environment. Although simply changing a vehicle will not fully reduce the effects of climate change, there are more options for people to consider in order to help reverse climate change. Reducing, reusing, and recycling can aid in the deduction of the effects caused by the changing climate. This is because by using this motto as advice, less waste will be put into landfills and eventually limit the amount of methane that is discharged into the atmosphere. “Methane (CH4) is a powerful greenhouse gas that is 23 times more effective at trapping heat in the atmosphere than the most prevalent greenhouse gas—carbon dioxide (CO2).”(1) Furthermore conserving water and electricity is vital in the hopes of ensuring the survival of future generations. Water and electricity are known to be resources that are not easily renewable, due to the fact water takes many years to be able to be reused and electricity is not renewable because it is created with nonrenewable resources. A way for the population to guarantee an abundance of renewable electricity is if they rely on solar, geothermal, or wind energy. This is an option that an increasing amount of people are turning to, including many farmers who own wind turbines that generate energy by absorbing the wind. In addition, the ability to grow plants should be taken advantage of because there is an outstanding outcome of this action. Plants survive on carbon dioxide and society lives in a world where there is an excessive amount of carbon dioxide, this will result in plants absorbing most of the gas that is poisonous to humans. Moreover, individuals can help by joining green groups, this is imperative to the success of this fight. As a green group this gives them an advantage for protesting against harmful actions other people do towards the environment. There also can be rally’s where people announce their concerns to the government where their goal is to have regulations and laws created to restrict amounts of harmful human activity. For example; putting a tax on the usage of carbon dioxide. It is essential to remember these available options while starting to battle the issue of climate change.

It is not only up to the general public to aid in fighting against climate change, they have a crucial role in this but the governments of various countries have the most effective impact on this issue. One of the ways governments are able to create a change in society is putting a tax on carbon, to discourage people from being irresponsible with gas emissions and in turn will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide being emitted into the air causing pollution. The only issue with this solution is places that are farther from cities may suffer from this regulation, places like Prince Edward Island do not have enough public transit because of the large countryside resulting in less of an option between driving their own vehicle or taking public transit. Moreover, the government can put regulations on how much gas they can emit into the atmosphere. This will help prevent an overabundance of carbon dioxide being discharged into the air by factories requiring to pay a fine if they exceed the limit. To finalize, it is critical that governments all around the world assist in stopping the issue of climate change.

In summary, the progression of climate change has been caused by the evolution of humankind. This issue has been evolving for hundreds of years, if climate change is not corrected soon enough then this will cause permanent effects on the world. It is the present generation's job to reduce the effects for the future populations. Buying eco-friendly cars, reducing, reusing, recycling are just one step to aid the changing climate. Together, joining green groups, conserving water and electricity, and growing more plants will all start the breakthrough to the final result of ending climate change.
